About the Author

Stan Powers resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife, Connie, and their two daughters, ages 17 and 13.  Stan also has two adult children by a previous marriage.  Stan and Connie enjoy a loving 20 year marriage, which has been open for the past 10 years.   

Stan worked in the mortgage industry for 30 years and then sold real estate during the last 13 years of his career.  He retired on January 1, 2011, and closed down his real estate brokerage firm.  Shortly thereafter, he began the study of polyamory, paganism and energy, topics of far greater interest to him than his professional pursuits. 

Over the years, as time permitted, Stan authored and contributed to numerous blogs covering various sexual and alternative lifestyle issues.  In addition to writing, his other primary interests are motorcycling and photography.  One day, he hopes to combine his hobbies, tour the country on his bike and photo journal his adventures. School and other activities of his children are keeping him close to home for now. 

Stan, Stan Powers and Stanley T. Powers are online aliases and Stan’s authorship pseudonyms.  While not ashamed of his work, he prefers that his minor children not be able to Google his real name and learn of his alternative lifestyle interests.  Connie is also an alias for the same reason, as well as her employment with a conservative law firm.
